Government offices, banks and insurance companies are reopening from today (Tuesday) after the seven-day holiday of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. With this, administrative and economic activities are starting in full swing again.

Offices will operate from 9 am to 5 pm, as per the previous rules.

After the holiday, a large number of people from different parts of the country have already started returning to Dhaka. Passengers were seen rushing to the bus terminals, railway stations and boat docks on their journey to the capital.

On March 21, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated across the country with religious fervor and festive atmosphere. On this occasion, there was a continuous government holiday from March 17 to 23.

On the other hand, there was a five-day break in the newspaper industry. This holiday was effective from March 19 to 23 as announced by the Newspaper Owners Association (NOAB).

With the return to normal working life after the holiday, the overall activities of the country are getting back on track.
