In its continued journey toward expanding customer-friendly and modern banking services, Janata Bank PLC has introduced two new digital features — NPSB Fund Transfer and Mobile Recharge — on its digital banking platform, eJanata. Along with these upgrades, the app’s user interface (UI) has been redesigned to offer a more modern, engaging, and secure experience for users.

The official inauguration of the new services was held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at a simple ceremony. Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman, Chairman of Janata Bank PLC, attended the event as the chief guest, while Mr. Md. Mozibur Rahman, Managing Director, presided over the ceremony.

The event was also graced by the presence of Deputy Managing Directors — Mr. Md. Golam Mortuza, Mr. Md. Fayez Alam, and Mr. Md. Ashraful Alam — along with Mr. Mohammad Anis, General Manager of the ICT Department, senior general managers, and other top executives from the bank’s head office.

Through the NPSB Fund Transfer service, customers can now transfer money quickly, conveniently, and securely to any bank account across the country. Meanwhile, the Mobile Recharge service enables instant top-ups for mobile phones directly from the app, making everyday banking more accessible, digital, and time-efficient.

With these new additions, Janata Bank PLC reinforces its commitment to building a smarter, more inclusive digital banking ecosystem for customers across Bangladesh.
