In a remarkable demonstration of efficiency, Alpha Islami Life Insurance Ltd. settled a death claim within just two working days at its Muradpur–Chattogram Sales Office.
The nominee — wife of the late policyholder Anowar Azam Khan — received a cheque handed over by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Nure Alam Siddiqui (Obhi).
According to the company’s communication on social media, the policyholder had paid only Tk 2,000 in premiums before passing away 17 days later. Upon submission of the required documents, the company promptly transferred Tk 218,000 to the nominee’s bank account — within two working days of application.
